Tooth extraction in Jodhpur
दांत निकालना
Gentle removal, when it's truly needed.
The problem
Sometimes a tooth is too broken, decayed, loose or infected to be saved, or it is crowding other teeth.
The treatment
We always try to save a tooth first. If removal is the best option, it is done gently under local anaesthesia, with clear aftercare advice and options to replace the tooth later.
What happens, step by step
- Examination and X-ray.
- Local anaesthesia so the area is numb.
- The tooth is gently removed.
- Aftercare instructions and a follow-up if needed.
Recovery
Bite on gauze for the first hour, eat soft food, and avoid spitting, smoking or using a straw for 24 hours so the area heals well.
Every case is different. Dr. Deepshikha will explain what applies to you after a check-up.

Tooth Extraction: your questions
Is tooth extraction painful?
The area is numbed first, so you feel pressure rather than pain. Mild soreness afterwards is normal and settles in a few days.
Should I replace an extracted tooth?
Usually, yes. A gap can let nearby teeth shift. Implants, bridges and dentures are all options.
