मुंह के छाले
Mouth ulcers (chhale) are small painful sores inside the mouth. Most heal on their own in 1 to 2 weeks.
Common signs
- Small round sores with a white or yellow centre
- Pain when eating spicy or sour food
- Sores that keep coming back
Common causes
- Accidentally biting the cheek
- Sharp tooth edges or rough fillings
- Stress
- Some deficiencies
- Spicy or acidic food
What you can do at home
- Rinse with warm salt water
- Avoid very spicy and sour food for a few days
- Use a soft toothbrush
Home care can ease symptoms, but it doesn't fix the cause.
